How do I prepare for my tattoo?

Make sure you're well-rested and hydrated before your appointment. Also, avoid alcohol and aspirin for at least 24 hours before you get your tattoo.

Do you accept debit/credit?

We accept all types of payment, however some artists are cash and e-transfer only.

What is your hourly rate?

The hourly rate depends on each artist. We also may charge by the piece in certain circumstances.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

You have to be 18 years old to get tattooed at Bearcat Tattoo. We do not tattoo minors, even with parental consent. Please bring photo identification with you.

Is it okay to get tattooed while pregnant or breastfeeding?

No, it is never a good idea to get tattooed while pregnant of breastfeeding.

Can I drink or take drugs before my tattoo?

Small amounts of Tylenol or Advil ok but it is best to avoid any kind of drugs or alcohol before your appointment.

Can I bring a friend with me to my appointment?

You may bring a friend with you to your appointment, but they may be asked to wait in the front depending how busy the shop is.

How long will it take for my tattoo to heal?

It usually takes around 2-3 weeks for your tattoo to fully heal.

Am I allowed to bring my kids with me to my appointment?

Young children and kids are not permitted in the tattoo area.

What is your policy on touch-ups?

Touch ups are free on non-problem areas. We do not offer free touch ups to other areas of the body such as hands, fingers, necks or feet.
